This eggplant and buratta pizza courtesy of La Madia in downtown Chicago. Apart from the eggplant slices having been somewhat oversalted, the combination was pretty tasty. I'd recommend their 2-person special, in which you get one fairly sizeable pizza, a salad, and cookies for $20.
Too bad pizzas typically look less appetizing than they smell. It's not particularly attractive blog food, but omnom so much melted cheese.
